Question:
Fine Hair! I've got it! Do you have any tips for me!?
Answer:
Your fine hair is crying out for a volumizing shampoo. Be sure to condition
your hair on the ends, not the roots. Conditioners will weigh down fine hair.
1. Before using your blow dryer,
apply a styling gel or mousse to your hair. That will give body and volume.
Remember to apply to the roots and work through to the ends. Lift hair at the
roots with your fingers as you blow dry. Lifting with your fingers will aid
in the rapid drying of your hair, taking just a few minutes.
2. Use a round brush working out from the roots to the ends. As you reach the
end, round the brush back up to the root and hold it there for a few seconds
(until the brush cods off). This method will lock in your style and lifting
the root will give you more body.
3. When drying is completed, lift hair with a vent brush or your fingers. Mist
your hair with hair spray, holding spray nozzle at least 6 to 8 inches away
from your hair. Never use a spray that is sticky or creates a stiff feeling.
Never over spray, fine hair looks better when it's bouncy and shiny.
